The Dog
Burke and Hare have recently taken delivery of something a little larger and smellier than Tess the Cat. The thing in question is a Labrador. A big, fat, black Labrador. Unfortunately, the Labrador is not too fond of cats. Hence, Tess's life has become a little less relaxed than it normally is.
Annabelle. Here's a picture of her and you would be forgiven for believing that butter would not melt in her mouth. Butter might not, but the cat probably would, especially after having been chewed for a while to tenderise her.
Annabelle is also very useful in helping Burke and Hare in their search for buried bodies in their quest to bring back to life the antics of Burke and Hare - famous body snatchers of years gone by. Her digging is second to none and her enhanced sense of smell aids in the detection of subterranean bones.
Tom is particularly fond of Annabelle. As previously mentioned, Tom is actually a dog called Dogbert and has found a true soul mate in Annabelle - who has now become his right hand canine helper in his relentless quest for glory.
